The EDM process
Electrical discharges form an arc through a dielectric fluid between an electrode (as thin as 0.004 inch) and a workpiece of conductive material.
Any material in the path of the discharges is eroded and flushed away, with virtually no surface effects. The electrode never touches the material.
If you need the accuracy, versatility, and repeatability of EDM, you need Microform.
